1.抗炎作用

本品可减轻和防止组织对炎症的反应。在急性炎症初期，抑制毛细血管通透性、白细胞浸润及吞噬反应，减少各种炎性介质的释放，从而减轻渗出局部水肿；在炎性后期，抑制毛细血管和纤维母细胞的增生及胶原蛋白的合成，防止粘连及瘢痕形成。

 

2.抑制免疫与抗过敏作用

本品能防止或抑制细胞介导的免疫反应、延迟性的过敏反应，减少T淋巴细胞、单核细胞、噬酸性细胞的数目，降低免疫球蛋白与细胞表面受体的结合能力，并抑制白介素的合成与释放，从而降低T淋巴细胞向淋巴母细胞转化，抑制因过敏反应而产生的病理变化，如过敏性充血、水肿、渗出、皮疹、平滑肌痉挛及细胞损害等。本品还降低免疫复核物通过基底膜，并能减少补体成分及免疫球蛋白的浓度。另外能够抑制组织器官的移植排异反应，对于自身免疫性疾病也能发挥一定的近期疗效。

 

3.对眼科疾病治疗作用

抑制角膜上皮再生，在角膜、结膜疾患时可以抑制或减少新生血管的形成。
